What stays on your device

Syandix Crypto stores the transactions you enter—such as coins, quantities, rates, fees, totals, dates, currencies, and exchange names—on your iPhone or iPad. Your display-currency preference, cached coin information, cached price history, and widget snapshot are also stored locally so the app can work efficiently.

Syandix does not record your name, email address, account, device identity, transaction amounts, cost basis, profit or loss, or exchange names. Your portfolio amounts and other entered information are not sent to Syandix or to a market-data provider.

Market-data requests

To show current prices and price history, Syandix Crypto sends requests to a Syandix-operated market-data service. The service requests market data from CoinGecko.

The only portfolio-derived reference in a market-data request is the coin identifier (for example, “bitcoin”). A request also includes the currency selected for display and, when you open a chart, the requested time range—only so the service can return the right market price or chart. It never includes your holdings, transaction amounts, cost basis, profit or loss, exchange names, name, email address, account, or device identifier.

As with any internet connection, technical network data is processed momentarily to deliver, secure, and rate-limit the request. Syandix does not turn it into a user record or advertising profile. CoinGecko receives the market-data request and processes it under its own privacy policy.

No accounts, analytics, or advertising

Syandix Crypto has no user accounts, advertising identifier, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics or crash-reporting service. We do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not use your app activity to build a profile about you.

Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode

If you enable app locking, Syandix Crypto asks iOS to authenticate you with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Your biometric data never becomes available to Syandix and does not leave your device; the app receives only a success or failure result from Apple’s authentication system.

Backups you create

When you export a backup, Syandix Crypto creates a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You choose whether to save, send, or upload that file. Nothing is uploaded automatically through Syandix. If you share a backup with another service, that service’s privacy policy applies.

Payments

Syandix Crypto does not collect or process payment-card information. Any future in-app purchase is processed by Apple, not by Syandix.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual transactions in the app. Deleting Syandix Crypto removes its locally stored database, cached data, and widget snapshot from your device. Because Syandix does not retain a copy of your portfolio, there is no portfolio record for us to retrieve or delete.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data handling changes, we will update this policy and its “Last updated” date.
